About Space In Time Therapy
Learn more about founder and therapist Karen Van-Evelingen.
Karen Van-Evelingen MBACPI am an Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I aim to provide a warm, safe, and confidential space for you to explore what you are thinking and how you are feeling. Having come into Counselling/Therapy through my experiences as a client, I came to realise there is not a one size fits all approach.
Upon completing Certificate courses, I decided to train on an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling (BACP Accredited) at the Iron Mill College in Exeter. My core approaches are Attachment, Humanistic/Relational, Psychodynamic, and Transactional Analysis. My Integrative training ensures I remain open to the needs of my clients. I offer short-term and long-term Counselling and Psychotherapy. Being a registered member of the BACP, I follow their Ethical Framework to ensure I work with clients ethically and safely. Deciding to come to Counselling can feel daunting and I appreciate you may have thought about it for quite some time before deciding to take the first step. Therefore, our initial session is for us to get to know a little about each other to determine whether we can work together in a therapeutic way. In my personal life I enjoy going to the gym and swimming. I also love to walk along the coast and in the beautiful Cornish countryside. As a keen photographer I like to capture those moments of space and time. |
